V Magazine & Desigual licensed “Who Me Instrumental” by Brenmar & Gangsigns for their new Ecoalf x Desigual Campaign!! Check the video below!
New York based, by way of Chicago, Brenmar represents a strange musical paradox. Somehow defying the odds, he marries the artificial gloss of mainstream hip hop with the urban grittiness of underground styles like Chicago ghetto house, UK bass and Jersey Club. 2014’s self – released High End Times – one of SPIN’s Best Overlooked Albums of 2014 – put him in the spotlight as a groundbreaking maestro for artists like Mykki Blanco, Sasha Go Hard, and Junglepussy. For his last official EP, Brenmar entrusted the project to his friend A-Trak by signing with Brooklyn-based Fool’s Gold Records. The result was the genre bending Award – a four song EP of hip-hop, r&b, and club music featuring Uniiqu3, Dougie F. and more. Brenmar’s last single “She Already Know It” featured Beatking, ManMan Savage, and Jeff Chery looking towards raps future. While summer 2016 brings us “Like A Boss” featuring $2 Fabo of D4L/Laffy Taffy fame. This is club music for the present.
