Solidisco & Nadus Announced for This Year’s Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival

Known for showcasing a wide range of House, Electronica, and Indie acts to some of the most prominent Williamsburg venues such as Verboten, Baby’s All Right, Cameo Gallery, etc., this year will mark the eighth consecutive year of the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival. Earlier today, Solidisco has just been announced to support Armand Van Helden on 11/7 at Verboten with Will Clarke, Soul 2 Seoul, and more.

In addition, Moodswing artist Nadus will also join this year’s BEMF line-up with Jubilee and Austin Millz to perform at Baby’s All Right on 11/6.

Nadus Featured on Rolling Stone’s “10 New Artist You Need To Know” List

Earlier this month Nadus dropped his Broke City Deluxe Edition LP, and it’s safe to say that his debut is rapidly making some moves. Rolling Stone just published their list of the “hottest artists who are climbing the charts, breaking the Internet, or just dominating stereos,” featuring the Newark native alongside the likes of Tory Lanez, Mura Masa, and more. Incorporating the single “Sharpe James” into their Nadus profile, Rolling Stone writes “Sharpe James is one of the album’s most heavenly offerings.”

Nadus Interviewed on Fact Magazine, Releases “Bust It Open” Stream

Following his Pelican Fly debut last year titled “Broke City EP,” Newark native and Jersey Club pioneer Nadus is currently getting ready to release the full-length Deluxe Edition of “Broke City,” scheduled to release on October 16th via Pelican Fly, RPM MSC, and Nadus’ own imprint, THREAD.

Nadus spoke with Fact Magazine this week and discussed not only the anticipated release of “Broke City (Deluxe Edition),”  but also his early life in Newark, musical influences growing up, and even shared some of his thoughts on the globalization of club music today.
