Dj Sliink, named from his peers as “The Jersey Club King”, is leading a musical movement. He took the reigns as Jersey Club’s first global star, spreading the genre from humble beginnings in Newark, New Jersey’s DIY party spaces to international culture hotspots like London, Paris, Milan and Japan, with mainstream attention from Pitchfork, Billboard, SPIN, Fader ——After shooting to post-EDM stardom with a collaborative EP on Fool’s Gold with Flosstradamus, soundtracking Paris runways for Alexander Wang and Rick Owens, playing festivals around the globe, Skrillex soughtout Sliink’s diverse club sound and signed him to his OWSLA imprint. Sliink has continued to released tracks, collaborations with Skrillex + Wale, Ferry Wap, etc Recently Sliink has been outspoken about the inequalities in dance music, and has been leading a conversation for change.
