If you haven’t heard Icona Pop’s “I Love It”, you’ve either been living under a rock…or missing all of NYLON’s parties, because it’s a dance floor (and, honestly, desk side) staple since the Swedish electro-pop duo landed on American shores earlier this year.
But for those who have heard it–and heard it enough that they’re starting to feel fatique–here are eight reasons to keep listening to the dance floor rouser: This week Icona Pop release multiple remixes of “I Love It,” helmed by a range of mega-DJs, producers, and bands (think Sazon Booya, Nari & Milani, and more). It’s the closest thing to new music you’ll get out of Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt before their US tour with Marina & the Diamonds kicks off in December and their debut album finally comes out in 2013.
You can buy tracks from Icona Pop’s I Love It (Remixes) here–but in the meantime, we’ve got the premiere of the Cobra Starship remix of the song. It’s got an extra layer of synths to make it both turbo-charged and a little more dreamier…in other words, we love it.
